JP Kelso

JP Kelso of PRS Assets was found dead at his home in Denver on Monday. His death is under investigation by the Denver police department. JP was well known through out the credit and collection industry. As a leader in the debt buying industry he helped shape the industry into what it is today. JP was always seen in public with a smile on his face and you always knew of his presence in the room. He made numerous contributions to many charities and to our industry. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

JP was one of the most generous individuals I have come across in my travels. He enjoyed sharing his success with friends and even strangers, and that midas touch always left a memorable impression on all. I will certainly miss him and the excitement he has always brought to our industry. My thoughts and prayers go out to JP's family and all those who knew him.

I can't agree about JP's reputation, and certainly not about his being a "class act;" but, as was said, "there is no king, be his cause never so spotless, when it come to the arbitrament of swords, can try it out with all unspotted soldiers."
